Allow me to introduce myself. I'm "Holly", an English Bulldog. I live on a small farm in New Jersey with my family, and a bunch of horses. One member of the family, Bobby, is a great cook. He sings too. We had a wonderful winter and spring, here at the farm.
In January Bobby left the farm for a week to perform on The Warren Hill Smooth Jazz Cruise. He had a great time on the cruise, and many other Smooth Jazz artists were onboard. Bobby said the best part was the fans. Great fans, great shows, sunshine, palm trees and paradise made for a great time! In February I had to stay home with a baby-sister because Bobby and the whole family went off to Ft. Myers, Florida for his first symphony show. They had a load of fun! Bobby performed two nights with The Southwest Florida Symphony. He sang the wonderful standards of Cole Porter, Sammy Cahn, and many of the greats. He also included one of my favorites, "April Moon", which he wrote for his "Come Rain or Come Shine" album.
Bobby has been traveling to shows, but when he's home, I love to join him in the kitchen. Watching him cook is great fun, and sometimes he gives me a taste of his culinary creations! Well, not just sometimes, he ALWAYS lets me sample his dishes. That's my favorite part of watching him cook! My favorite is his salmon. It's fabulous! When dinner is done, I like to relax and listen to Bobby sing and play the guitar. Sometimes the music goes on into the wee hours. I love it! I am his number one fan!
Thanks for taking the time to read my column. I'll keep you posted on life on the farm with Bobby.
